Joani has been a BSR instructor since the beginning of the program 30 years ago. She is also a clinician, judge, trainer, coach, and instructor. She takes great pride in her students and horses as they continually achieve recognition across the northwestern United States and Canada. She and her husband, Jim, are the owners of Kissock Horse Center.

Fearless leader on all things technical. Krissy K. is a compassionate horse person and leads the BSR team through all our organizational and operational details with patience and skill. She has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector and enjoys seeing the BSR program grow to serve more children and youth in the community.

Katie grew up at Kissock Horse Center! She, her mother Suzanne, and Dutch have been with the program for years. Katie is a board member and volunteer; she is now studying to be a veterinary technician.

Stella joined BSR last year as a board member. She’s learning the ropes from great leaders.

Tawna has been with Butte Special Riders for almost 20 years. She has served on the board for 5 years. Tawna helps with all the administrative organizational needs and guides the riders through exercises.

Who loves who more? Linda and Jetson are a great team! 

Linda has been with Butte Special Riders for many years. She helps with all the administrative organizational needs. 

Linda has been Jetson’s sponsor for many years and Jetson knows it- he follows her everywhere.

Dr. Sara Murray is an occupational therapist who earned her bachelors degree at Montana Tech in Butte, MT and her doctorate in occupational therapy at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND.

She brings her professional skills and insights to the board. She also keeps us heading in the right direction and as quick to make us all laugh.
